A workshop entitled "Integrated Management of Citrus Diseases" was organized within the activities of the 14th International Conference on Current, Modern and Advanced Research in the Field of Agriculture, Food and Animal Production, which took place at Dreams Beach Resort in Sharm El-Sheikh on Thursday, October 3, 2024, under the auspices of the Egypt Future Foundation for Development and Innovation and the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo. This was possible thanks to the cooperation between the Fungi Division Research Department represented by Dr. Suzan Eid Al-Abyad (Senior Researcher) and Dr. Mohamed Al-Sharouni (Researcher) and Nematode Diseases Research department represented by Prof. Dr. Iman Hammad (Head of Research), Dr. Marwa Al-Deriny (Senior Researcher), Dr. Shimaa Nagy (Researcher) , and Dr. Dina Ibrahim (Senior Researcher), at Agricultural research center (ARC). This is within the framework of the activities of the Sustainable Innovations for Regenerative Agriculture in the Mediterranean Basin (SIRAM) project, funded by the Partnership Program with the Mediterranean Basin Countries (PRIMA) and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). The workshop was moderated by prof. Hanaa Zawam, the head of the Nematode diseases research department and prof. Dina Ibrahim, the manager of the Egyptian Nematology Reference Lab (ENR lab) at Plant Pathology Research Institute, Agriculture Research Center and SIRAM's Egyptian PI. The workshop was attended by approximately 100 agricultural engineers and academics interested in agriculture.
